the bases of ecover is to prevent unnecessary pollution of the environment. they run a paper-free office and store everything on computers. unavoidable print-outs, faxes, copies, business cards, leaflets and brochures are printed on recycled paper and with vegetable ink when possible. all the products they make are recyclable, and mainly composed of plant deprived ingredients and minerals.

the the theory behind this is it cannot harm the environment when it came from the environment in the first place.

contained within ecover products are raw plant materials such as herbs, starch, wood fibers (cellulose), rapeseed, palm & coconut oil, other essential oils, and minerals derivatives being sand, lime, zeolites and silicate.

my review

          I opted in requesting the Laundry Detergent because I am on a mission to find my favorite one (AND we go through lot's of detergent in this household). While I still may be on my "quest", something worth mentioning about ecover's Laundry Detergent is it is super concentrated so a little goes a long way (which is nice). And I LOVE the thought of washing my clothes in plant deprived ingredients, knowing I'm having nature help me with my everyday duties. Speaking of which, the nature factor is what allows the detergent to be gentle on skin. It's a great product all around. 

          As soon as I tried out the Limescale Remover, I about kicked myself in the "ars" wishing I would have taken before and after photos for you guys to see the difference it made! It was unbelievable! It takes care of deposits left on tiles, taps, tubs, showers and sinks. The bottle squirts out a foam, you leave it sit for a minute, scrub and rinse it off, and waa-laa, the work is done!. Easy application and noteworthy results, this product is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED by me. Wouldn't it be nice if ALL limescale removers were this simple and effective?
