Although I don't have kids, I sure know when to have a token of appreciation when it calls for it. My daily activities call for a visit to the gym & tanning booth. Sometimes I get all sweaty just from running around like crazy! Sometimes it comes during times of high anxiety while talking in front of a crowd of people. Worse yet, I've had times I was running so behind, I had to sacrifice my shower. Whatever the incident, it's always nice to have a back-up plan... for me, that would be Qwik Shower Wet Wipes.

I would call these the "ultimate" body wipe, one I've never encountered (or had the pleasure to sample) up until recently. I was really happy with the packing, quantity & quality of the popcorn in the Sparkling Snowflake Six-Bag Sampler.

Everyone's face lit up when they saw the package sitting on the counter! What appears to be wrapping paper on the very outside actually slides right off. Beneath is the box that holds all the individually packaged popcorn flavors, which are in all actuality, quite LARGE. My family of 5 was able to feast on the sampler for a good 3 days. My favorite flavor combination happens to be the "This and That" (pictured above), although they are others to choose from should you prefer something different.

The Hall of Fame Kettle Corn looks plain to the naked eye, but happens to be slightly sweet & salty.

While I expected a tangy, sharp cheddar taste from the Southwest Cheddar Chipotle, it ended up being not so sharp & awfully sweet.

The Chocolate Chunk N' Carmel was gobbled up as fast as it came, so I was never able to make that connection with it.

Twice-As-Nice Chocolate DrizzleCorn moved from 1st to 2nd place in my books after having tried the Peanut Butter & White Chocolate DrizzleCorn. The texture of the kernel & flavors make them both genuinely sweet & you'll find yourself reaching for more without thinking twice about it. Peanut Butter gives the DrizzleCorn a boost, neither that or the chocolate is overly emphasized; in other words, "not too little, not too much."

Dale's Carmel defiantly speaks powerfully. I had an issue with the caramel getting stuck in my teeth, but didn't have to eat much to take care of the craving anyways.

Tropical Traditions #4

Above are a few ti-bits I read straight off Tropical Traditions that prompted my interest in wanting to review the product itself.

I was hoping it'd be similar to a "hot oil" treatment.

I got in the shower, soaked my (very long, very thick) hair with water before applying half a bottle of the unscented Organic Hair Oils, then put it up in a clip, & rinsed it out 15 minutes later. I ended up shampooing five or so times until I was completely satisfied most of the oils were gone.

POSITIVES:
By the time my hair naturally air-dried, I noticed an immediate difference. The ends were not so brittle, & the amount of frizz/ flyways was much less. It was easier to brush out, & straightening it with a hot iron took 1/3rd the usual time.

NEGATIVES:
My roots seemed "weighed down" & very flat. Think... no volume. Either my scalp emits oil build-up unusually quickly (in addition to the product), or the product (alone) REALLY DID take 3 days to wash out.

I was super stoked to come across The Women's New Mexico Shirt while browsing Girl's Tshirts at Nachomama Tees. I admire the original uniqueness of the design, as well as the green on white color scheme, which can be paired with just about anything!

THIS particular design is sold in both men's & women's sizing; how cool is that?! I chose women's, which has thinner material, shorter sleeves & a more snug fit. Being 100% cotton, I expected some massive shrinking to occur when laundering but to my surprise, it stayed true to it's size! My only complaint is the white is slightly see-through. Had it been another color, I don't think this would be an issue.

Women's size XL "after-wash" Measurements:
22"L x 18"W. Circumference stretches easily from 36" to over 50"!

It seems like all I eat these days are packaged foods, but up until recently, I never had the pleasure of individually packaged sweets (unless you're counting candy). So it was truly a pleasure to sample a little bit of everything The Protein Bakery has to offer, being various cookies, brownies & blondies.

The Protein Bakery specializes in home-baked, guilt-free & healthy snack alternatives packed with fiber which fills you up, & muscle-building protein. In fact, I'm pretty sure I could taste these (2) important ingredients. It's similar to the type of "meal bars" you eat while on a diet or at the gym, but better.

The portions were large. My hunger was satisfied after eating only half, & I was able to wrap up the other half for later. My favorites were the Chocolate-Chocolate Chip 2 Pack Cookies, Chocolate Chip Brownie, & Black & White Blondie {seen below} because they were loaded with chocolate chips.

Tried & true is The Protein Bakery's "15 Seconds in the Microwave" tip. I can honestly back up the statement that it bring out that "fresh from the oven taste!" There's something about warm sweets & semi-melted morsels that makes me want more.

I chose the Alpha Lipoic Acid, Vitamin C Ester & DMAE Cream because I am a firm believer in prevention. As I've mentioned in a previous review, I knew a lady whose skin looked genetically unaffected by age. She told me her secret was applying lotion everyday. Having a slightly inflammed & scarred face, I wanted to see what this could do for my future.

My biggest disappointment in moisturizers is the irritation or acne that follows. These were not issues with this product. It also has no smell, which can sometimes interfer depending on your scent preferences or odor sensitivity. Within the first week of use, I felt a tingling sensation which told me it was working. Over 4 weeks of use has resulted in an overall balance of naturally occurring facial oils & an improved complexion.

If you apply the right amount (which, by the way, doesn't take much), your skin is slightly moisturized afterwards. If you overdo it, you're left with a lot of residue that doesn't dry as quickly as you'd think. Generally speaking, each application takes a whole hell of a lot less than similar products on the market. So the 2 ounces you get for $23 is worth every dollar, TRUST ME.

I look forward to my nightly treatments. It's easy to remember, & even easy to do! You apply & forget, just how I like it.

At the time I picked out the TransFIRMation Lotion, I was going through a weight loss journey & still am. I immediately thought of my stretch marks & how they're getting even more visible as my body weight becomes less. The fact that it has "10X the amino acids of other elastins" really appealed to me... Could this be the one product that really works? And for $10? No way!

Well, I'd like to say I've used it more than I have. Application is inconvenient since without water, it's near impossible. Somehow the formula interacts with the water so it gets slick & you can really expand your coverage. Without it, you don't get very far. The best way to do this? With a squirt bottle or right after a shower.

It does dry relatively quickly. However, this can be looked at two different ways. Positively, your body doesn't have to endure much air drying. Negatively, usually you're not done yet.

This follows with a pink tinge to my skin that disappears within the hour. It's certainly not irritation but a sign of it doing it's job since it's the only reaction I ever have. If anything, it's preventing & that's good enough for me!

The Spooktacular Halloween Gift Box is fun, affordable & delicious! It reminds me of a holiday popcorn tin sampler, only bagged separately & fresher. What you don't like you can give away, or make the servings (which are decent portions) last longer by opening them one at a time.

My biggest pet peeve with popcorn has to be the half-done & un- popped kernels that nearly break your teeth while consuming. Dale & Thomas Popcorn must be sorted through before packing because I didn't run into this problem. It was a nice change, & this alone made it go faster.

Usually my popcorn has to be loaded with flavoring before I'll even consider eating it. The Hall of Fame Kettle Corn was the exception to this statement. It had just a touch of salt & sugar that kept me wanting more. Same thing goes for the Twice-As-Nice Chocolate Drizzlecorn. Have you ever had chocolate drizzled popcorn? It's my new favorite sweet!

Now the Milk Chocolate Popsters are a different story. They are covered in so much chocolate, the popcorn in the middle aids more in giving it a crunchy texture than further taste. You'd be surprised at what a difference it makes. You don't have to like popcorn to like these!

Not of popcorn origin are the Parmesan & Garlic Cheese Sticks. They taste similar to bread & don't do much for me, but as it usually happens, at least one of my five house members liked them. The package was open one day, & gone the next.

For the $18.50 sale price, the Spooktacular Halloween Gift Box compliments of Dale & Thomas Popcorn is well worth the money! While I don't normally indulge in popcorn, even I enjoyed it!

On my quest to find something new & exciting, I decided to splurge on the We-Vibe Touch ~~$89~~ SALE $71.20 & Lipstick Vibrator ~~$14.99~~ SALE $11.90.

The We-Vibe Touch, slightly bigger than the palm of my hand, is made of medical-grade silicone, waterproof & doesn't require batteries. There's numerous vibes that vary not just in speed, but pattern & intensity. The volume is considerably low, consisting of a rumble. My only complaint is having to keep track of the 3 pieces needed to charge it (the toy, cord & connector between the two).

I expected something cheesy with the Lipstick Vibrator but was pleasantly surprised otherwise. It looks so true to it's "masked" form that I have no problem carrying it around, EVEN having it seen, in my purse. You simply twist the tube to turn it on, as if you were twisting it to push your lipstick up & down. Shockingly, it conjures up an extremely powerful, fast vibe. Who would of knew? The down side is it's a high pitch noise impossible to ignore. With that said, it's not as discreet "sounding" as it looks.

If toys aren't your thing, that's OK too. The fun don't stop there. Spice up your love life in other ways! EdenFantasys has a broad range of related products readily available for purchase such as candles, massage oils, edible creams, romance kits, erotic DVDs, books, lingerie (average & plus size) & the list goes on. Clearly these are really bad pictures of ME, but really GOOD ones if you're looking for some kind of Exuviance Age Reverse Eye Contour RESULTS.

I can see a BIG difference, pictures don't lie! The lighting may be different, but regardless, the effects are way too dramatic to play the blame game, don't you think? What do you see?

The before photo shows some serious baggage. I can't decide if there's more red, black or blue, but the puffiness is screaming, "Get some sleep!" The sad thing? That was me WITH sleep!

If you're anything like me, you probably crave the taste of a simple, decidant, dessert-like snack, already prepared & above all, nutritious. Sounds enticing but too good to be true, doesn't it? It just so happens I know of one, one I often find myself dipping into. Called Activia Selects, it's a yogurt bursting with ooey gooey goodness while also being beneficial to anyone & everyone. Find it in the dairy isle of your nearest grocery store!

First, let me say, I don't normally care for yogurt, & yet Activia Selects French style with Fruit on the Bottom is the exception to that statement. So what makes it so great? The obvious reason is the sweet & chunky fruit, but as philosophy teaches us, the river runs deeper than that. It's formulated with Bifidus Regularis, clinically shown to play an active role in helping regulate your digestive system when consumed daily for two weeks as part of a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle. Speaking from experience, two weeks of this stuff once a day will naturally do your body a whole lot of good. As my grandma used to tell me, the proof is in the pudding... meaning, sometimes you've just got to try it yourself.

THE POSITIVES OF THE REVIEW. Smells JUST like chocolate, & just like perfume, lingers on skin long after application! Of course, the all natural scent of pure cocoa is not the only reason I love this stretch mark lotion. It goes on creamy, gets even creamier as you rub it in (thereby maximizing your coverage), then dries as quickly as you stop. In the past, similar products have caused my super sensitive skin to break out, but NOT this stuff! Easy turn & lock pump.

THE NEUTRALS OF THE REVIEW. I swear I noticed an improvement while routinely using the Anti-Stretchmark Lotion. I ALSO swear my stretch marks began to return to their original shape when I quit. I don't know if it was my imagination working one over on me or not, but I've begun routinely using again.

THE NEGATIVES OF THE REVIEW. Although it's probably not required, my OCD prompts me to wash my hands after each application. Don't get me wrong, I like how the Anti-Stretchmark Lotion makes my skin feel, just not necessarily my hands.

THE POSITIVES OF THE REVIEW. Once again, the smell of cocoa & honey is to die for! If walnuts &/or chocolate isn't your thing, don't sweat it... OrganicaPure carries an aloe vera organic body scrub as well. I can't speak for that one, but this one has a smooth & VERY gentle glide to it, even with the nuts!

THE NEUTRALS OF THE REVIEW. The Body Scrub with Walnut Exfoliant is NOT meant for a loofah, & trying to use one will only be a waste. On another note, the pump doesn't work well, more than likely due to being clogged by the nuts.

THE NEGATIVES OF THE REVIEW. With the $26 dollar price in mind, I go through the Body Scrub with Walnut Exfoliant faster than I'd like to, especially being it's not a "sudsy" formula.

I can't speak for each one of the 13 scents, but there's just a hint of fragrance within the lotion. This is a nice change from conventional ones where the smell is too overpowering. Amazing, to me, is best described as light, fresh & feminine.

The lotion didn't seem to bother the cut on my finger. It reminds me of a wet to dry eyeshadow in the sense that it goes on thick & creamy, then leaves behind dry (yet clearly hydrated) hands; hands that are soft to the touch. Incredibly, they continued to stay smooth & scented even after a soapy hand wash!

A dime-sized amount covers a decent portion of skin so I'd say $10.75 for an 8oz bottle is a great value!

I was able to create & review a set of 30 flat, 5x7" smooth matte cards including 30 premium quality, white envelopes that normally sells for $21.60 plus shipping! Can you say WOW?! Talk about having a wow factor! It took me a couple days to p-e-r-f-e-c-t my "custom" message, but ordering was fun & smooth sailing from there. for some reason I sweat really bad when I get extremely nervous. because of so, my shirts end up with stains you can smell but not actually see. they become apparent when I begin to sweat again, regardless of the shirt being laundered. when I applied to review this product I didn't realize the raise pit stain remover's main purpose was to remove obvious yellow discolorations. I just assumed it was made to fit my personal situation, or at least extend to certain issues related to mine. oops!

although I don't have any clothing with yellow stains, I choose to try it out on a few soiled shirts with that certain unseen tinge to them. the serum burned my hands so I had to wear gloves & it was a little difficult to apply. I don't know if I did it right because the scent still lingered even after I washed the shirts.

so from my experience, it doesn't work for those invisible smell stains. however, from what I've read it works for observable yellow stains. raise armpit stain remover has been featured in the wall street journal, in style, shape & self magazines among others. it's been named product of the month of good housekeeping magazine, & has had rave reviews on other blogs.

do I love them? DO I EVER! I was originally unsure about how bootcut would look on me, but my god... talk about elongating the legs! they really accentuated my "junk in the trunk" (...if ya know what I mean) & slimmed my figure. not only that, but this has been the most comfortable pair of jeans I've ever had. my mom can even fit into them, & we're TWO (2) different sizes.

I never realized how "altered" peanut butters are until I came across krema.

so let's talk about krema's peanut butter... it's made of 100% specially roasted Georgia peanuts, & ONLY peanuts. that means there's been no added hydrogenated oils, sugars or salt, & contains absolutely no sodium, trans fat or cholestoral. it's a good source of unsaturated fat & folic acid, something we all need in our daily diets. & the texture is smooth & creamy verses gritty, as other trade names are.

THE TASTE-TESTING EXPERIMENT
at first I was concerned because krema (aka crazy richard's) is soup-ee. after being reassured by my mom & then later reading up on it, I now understand that's how it works with ALL natural peanut butters. because of the lack of added hydrogenated oils (among other ingredients) it does not take on a hard form. instead, it makes putting your peanut butter on bread a much easier task! I also found out that if you prefer it slightly hardened, store it in the fridge.

I am just geeked about this product- it's one of my newest favorite lotions by far! there is a cooling sensation that dissipates as quick as you rub it in, & it is SO moisturizing, you can actually see the difference after applying. with that in mind, I tried taking before & after pictures of my hands, but they sadly didn't show the detail I wanted you to see.

a little goes a long way here with organoderm's moisturizer & lasts for hours! furthermore, everything in it is skin-benefiting, making it well worth the money!

One of my goals in life is to move into a nice home with an even nicer above ground pool. I want the 10 foot deep pool with the enormous walk-up wooden deck 30 feet in diameter surrounding it.
