as you can see, the shedmonster has become a popular tool.
there's one in particular for short coats & one for long. it promises to remove the undercoat of fur gently without scratching & ripping at the animal's skin. & it's versatile meaning it can be used with both dogs & cats!
Baby IS a shedder but not one that leaves clumps of hair laying around everywhere. she's a short coat dog without much of an "undercoat" & doesn't lose that coat once a year like my last dog did. if I still had my samoid, which looks like one of those Alaskan snow dogs, I would have worshiped this gizmo. although I no longer deal with the hairballs, there is some well-laid hair here, there & floating in the air sometimes.
it pulls out some hair but it can't do much for Baby. other than that SHE loves it. all I do is call her name, wave it in the air & it's like happy time here. I think it's one of the first times I can say a dog didn't mind me pushing hard to accomplish more. the edges of the shedmonster are made of smooth metal unlike cheap bristles found on other brushes.
this would make the perfect gift for someone who really needs it!
Baby (as seen above) looking for some more shedmonster action!
