vermont soap organics

Vermont Soap Organics sell so many wonderful sounding cleaners that can be used for multiple purposes
including the outdoors, house care, animal care, skin care & gifts! I was excited to try & blessed to receive a few bar soaps & a shower gel to both review & give away as seen below!

Shower gels can be purchased for $8.78 for 8oz or $39.98 for 1 gallon. The bar soaps Vermont Soap Organics are so famous for can be purchased for only $3.99, or at other sweet deals in bulk!

There are actually (2) opinions for this review. My MOM loved it. She thought it smelt nice & lathered really good. MYSELF, I was not too impressed. The lavender, which I originally thought would have a great scent, was not one I would normally jump for joy over. It was too strong for me. I also thought it could have lathered better than it did, which is in complete contradiction to my moms thoughts. Obviously this product is for her, not me.

My 2¢ on the Blue Bar Bar Soap ->
Vermont Soap Organics really outdid themselves on this one! This bar in particular was my absolute favorite & I would recommend it to anyone looking for a miracle soap! What I got from the website was this is an antibacterial soap which aides in preventing acne, atheletes foot, etc. It's not great for it's scent but it sure does the trick! My body acne has been under control & has nearly disappeared since I begun using this. I haven't found anything on the market that can top this one... & at $3.99, it's a steal!

My 2¢ on the Honey Bar Soap ->
Another scent I'm not too fond of but I must say, this bar in itself is a unique one. It is the gentlest exfoliator I've ever used! A bar of soap that could literally melt in your hands & made of pure Vermont honey, it glides on nice & smooth! The tid bits within the bar soap itself that "exfoliate" actually SOFTEN as the bar gets smaller! That means no scratchy lather as I've run into so many other times before with other company's soaps.

My 2¢ on the Tea Tree Bar Soap ->
Another winner in my book! Made with aloe vera & advertised as a facial cleansing bar for combo skin/ breakouts, it's main ingredient- tea tree oil- has always been a natural alternative to chemical treatments. Usually when I get out of the shower I require some kind of lotion on my face or my skin ends up too dried out or oily- WELL- that is NOT the case with this bar! Amazingly it seems to balance my skin & leave it perfectly moisturized! What more could I ask for?!

  5. thank you for this wonderful giveaway! i make a huge effort to buy mostly all organic...with our food, it's the only way to guarantee that it's free of nasty GMOs, pesticides and other toxins...and with body and hair care i believe that what we put on our bodies ends up IN our bodies. why would i be so careful about the food i feed my family only to throw caution to the wind with personal care? not happening!

  19. I am not too excited about this word anymore. It doesn't always mean that it really is pure without other additions. So many products are allowed to use this on their labels and it is so wrong. I am not sure how they have decided this to be allowed but whoever is responsible is allowing alot of scams! Rita Spratlen rj_angel_house@yahoo.com

  31. There are some products that are organic that I actually love, one of my favorite shampoos happens to be organic. But there are some things that just aren't as good as the "regular" brands where I wouldn't ever buy it as organic ever again. Some people swear by it, some people don't. I think it fits everyone differently.

Organic is good. It's nice not having to think about any questionable ingredents. The down side is organic is not always easily found in some areas. Also, it tends to cost somewhat more.

Having said that I wish everything was organic. Hormones in food bothers me the most and the price why is it that healthy is always so expensive?

I love organic products - Buying/using/eating organic products is really important to me...Knowing the harmful and unnecessary ingredients and chemicals that go into foods and products makes me even more passionate to use things that are natural and that were made to be in our bodies!

    thanks for the giveaway!

Organic should just be the default, the "regular" option. Really, everything else should be called "chemical." Organic is the way things have been down for thousands of years. Chemical is the new way, a way we're really not quite sure how it will all turn out. These chemicals are new and relatively untested, what will their affect be on the complex mechanisms it takes to sustain healthy life?

  85. I'm all for organic and actively seek it out whenever I can. Yes, it costs a little more, but think of why - farmers who don't dump pesticides on their crops have to assume that a certain percentage of their harvest will be ruined.
Organic is not only important because of its health impact when you eat. It's better for the environment - from keeping the "good" bugs from being killed to keeping our ground water pesticide-free.

  140. I think organic is definitely better. I don't need chemicals and/or toxins in or on my body. Additionally, organic is better for the earth! Good for me ... good for the earth ... a total win-win! Thanks for giving us this opportunity!

I am probably one of the few who really doesn't care about organic or non-organic. I have tried both and not noticed a difference. ambrerose at(aol) dot(com)

  160. I think the term 'organic' is often misused or at least misrepresented. As with so many other things, the original idea was excellent, but it has been taken over by so many who think of it more as an advertising tool than a real life style.
