created by a plastic surgeon & backed by 10 years of research, organoderm supplies skin & earth friendly bio-active & organic products made of natural plant & vegetable-derived extracts. as quoted from the doctor himself,
"the amount of harmful chemicals used in skin care was a driving force to present to consumers a line that was composed of the safest & highest nutritional ingredients for skins of all ages & conditions"
& so emerged organoderm, with the underlying philosophy that it's easier to prevent or forestall damaged & unhealthy skin than to treat it. the company wants consumers to realize that what you put on your skin matters, & like recycling, really makes a difference in the long run. with that in mind, they provide a postage paid mailing label [online] so you can send your empty organoderm containers to their contracted recycling company.
a pink ribbon is imprinted on all of organoderm's products, & 10% of all proceeds gets donated to breast cancer research. on another note,

I was on day 3 or 4 of a nasty rash I developed on the top insides of my legs. the day after I used organoderm's foaming cleanser, approx 97% of the rash disappeared.
now, convention cleansers are probably one of the most toxic items classified in skin care. they're rigged to kill bacteria, but seem to make your skin break out MORE! can you imagine what cheaper, over the counter formulas do to your skin?
so if you want to avoid the long-term damage, you got to pay the price! $22 for 8.5 ounces is considered cheap on the organic market. ***do not be fooled by the picture! a sample-sized cleanser is what you see.
if you have dry skin, organoderm's sugar exfoliator has your name written all over it. it's one of those scrubs where you don't have to apply a moisturizer afterwards because it is so much so.
unforchantly the sugar's too rough for my skin, which is extremely sensitive. I tear up everytime I have to rip a bandage off, so you can imagine. naturally, you wouldn't catch me forking over $30 for it because I wouldn't utilize it as much as someone who needed it.
I am just geeked about this product- it's one of my newest favorite lotions by far! there is a cooling sensation that dissipates as quick as you rub it in, & it is SO moisturizing, you can actually see the difference after applying. with that in mind, I tried taking before & after pictures of my hands, but they sadly didn't show the detail I wanted you to see.
a little goes a long way here with organoderm's moisturizer & lasts for hours! furthermore, everything in it is skin-benefiting, making it well worth the money!
