cowgirl chocolates w/a kick to 'em

...winner of over 19 product awards, too many to list. as seen in numerous media outlets, also too many to list.

handmade products made from premium chocolate, without additives or preservatives.

cowgirl stands out from the rest by
putting a zesty kick into her chocolates. it is truly original and unique. all of the dark chocolate is composed of 55-75% cocoa, while milk chocolate stands around 33%. the only exception to this is the specialty (round) daisies chocolates.

shop from her chocolate truffles, which start at $3 and come in 29 various bags, boxes and tins.

choose from 10 solid chocolate bars that sell for $2.50 a piece.

try out some spicy caramel that's available in 9 different assortments beginning at $10.95.

need a gift or have a special occasion coming up? cowgirl's got you covered for that too! browse through a collection of 22 individual mouth-watering items., including sweets, gift baskets and novelties.

cowgirl also advertises a "cocoa & treats" section where you will find a variety of products ranging from hot chocolate to peanut butter brittle.

the yum yum flavor guide

spicy truffles- double dark chocolate, raspberry dark chocolate, hazel milk chocolate, cappuccino (dark outside w/milk chocolate, espresso and crunchy bits inside)

mild solid chocolate bars- milk chocolate, dark chocolate, sarsaparilla (root beer) milk chocolate, lavender dark chocolate, lemonade white chocolate
spicy chocolate bars- huckleberry dark chocolate, roasted macadamia nut dark chocolate, lime/ tequila dark chocolate, habanaro orange express dark chocolate, mint milk chocolate
mild organic daisies- chai milk chocolate, mint dark chocolate 66%, ginger dark chocolate 66%, double dark chocolate 78%
spicy organic daisies- orange espresso dark chocolate 78%
all natural mild daisies- white chocolate lemonade, sugar free dairy free 51% dark chocolate

my review
I was able to sample the 1/4 pound Gift Box and I must say, these are not your average chocolates. who would have "thunk" you could combine chocolate with cayenne pepper and make it taste good?

With a couple of the chocolates, I could hardly taste it if at all. But with a couple of them, that's ALL I could taste. These are the type of sweets that someone is going to like, or dislike, with no in-between gray areas. I didn't mind the "mild mannered" truffles, but the "spicy" ones were just too much for me, myself and I. However my grandmother drooled over them, seriously. As expected at Cowgirl Chocolates you get to choose... choose to try mild, spicy or a mix, a mix of flavors or one of interest- it's up to you!

cowgirl chocolates is a proud supporter of Inland Northwest HIV/ AIDS Foundation, WAR - Women at Risk - National Breast Cancer Research, Camp Good Times - United Cancer Society in Spokane, WA and Wild Horse Sanctuary in Shingletown, CA among many others.

  1. Materialism and the resulting overuse of resources, waste, and pollution is the worst threat to our planet. To help the planet I buy used instead of new whenever possible, which is almost always if I'm honest (except for food lol). Give gifts that are consumable (like CHOCOLATE) or gift certificates for memorable experiences like concerts, massages, etc.

  134. LOL - we got rid of our car! Yep... it's defifitely NOT convenient, but we found that we actually save money because we can't just run to the store without some planning andwe're getting lots of exercise walking since the public transportation around here is terrible. Oh, and then there's that environmental thing - no emissions at all, no using energy of any kind, etc!

  139. Hi!

I grow my own vegetable garden in the backyard. Not only are the veggies delicious in summer, but I feel good showing my kids how to help the environment, and be self-sustainable. I always turn off 'energy vampires' like chargers, when they are not being used, and never leave the lights on when I'm not in the room.

There are millions of little things we can do to help the planet, and they all add up. We need to keep our environment clean for our children and grandchildren and every little bit helps. Thanks for the chance to win!
